We would like to invite you to participate in the 8th annual “Nicholas’s Festival” on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Consolidated School located at 12 Gillotti Road New Fairfield CT 06812. This beautiful day is our way of not only remembering Nicholas, but to also raise money to benefit countless children with special needs in support of living a healthy life.
Nicholas, a wonder-filled boy with a gentle heart, brought joy to everyone around him. He spoke only a few words, yet, he truly had no need for words at all. He spoke his own language. His bright eyes spoke volumes. With his unconditional love, he would take you by the hand and show you better than any words could ever tell. Nicholas’ love overflowed and one would never guess he suffered from Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). His trademark greeting was a love-filled, “Hi-Ya!”
Nicholas was only three years old when his life was tragically cut short on June 10, 2009.
‘Friends of Nicholas’ keep his memory strong and share his joy at a wonderful celebration of his life. We will create a legacy in Nicholas’ name. We will spread awareness and search for a cure for Prader-Willi Syndrome by supporting organizations and hospitals that assist in this ongoing effort.
This year, in addition to Prader-Willi Syndrome, your donations will also support Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York – Presbyterian, Columbia University Medical Center and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
